5. Project Work
It is mandatory for each participant to prepare a Project at the end of the programme to be eligible for the examination.
B. INTERNATIONAL FARES & E-TICKETING .
International Fares and E- Ticketing introduces you to the travel industry with use of extracts from selected industry publications. You will at the end of the course be able to price and document various itineraries as per customers' requirements.
On successful completion of the course, you will be able to:
• Define IATA geographical areas and sub-areas
• Identify Global Indicators and select routings
• Interpret airline codes
• Identify fare types and their characteristics
• Select the lowest applicable fare for point-to-point itineraries and apply fare rules
• Calculate fares applying the mileage system
• Construct fares using NUCs and IATA rates of exchange for various currencies
• Interpret ticket types
• Complete MPDs and MCOs for airport ticket issues

Note: You will be given a user name and password and a time frame within which you would have to complete your CRS training. On scoring a minimum of 85% you will be eligible for certification from IHCTM.
