Significant Years for Airline and Hospitality Training in India
- 1971 – IHCTM pioneers the first ever workshop course in Travel Tourism Ticketing (To date over 150 Travel agencies have been started by our students. Besides, over 35000 students are gainfully employed in the Industry)
- 1980 – IHCTM pioneers a twin Diploma course in Hotel and Airline Management
- 1986 – IHCTM pioneers courses for Traffic Assistant, Airhostess and Flight Purser jobs along with foreign languages
- 1988 – IHCTM pioneers a course in Air Cargo and Courier Management
- 1989 – IHCTM pioneers the first 4-in-1 Diploma in Hotel and Airline Management with Air Cargo (Still the only course of its kind in India)
- 1992 – IHCTM pioneeras 3-in-1 Diploma in Airline Management (still the only course of its kind in India)
- 1992 – IHCTM introduces the first ever course in Bartending
- 1993 – IHCTM is appointed as the first IATA/UFTAA authorized training Centre in North Mumbai
- 1994 – IHCTM starts crusade department to expose institutes misusing IATA logos, falsely claiming foreign affiliations and misguiding students (several articles of institutes misguiding students appear in leading publications)
- 1995 – IHCTM appointed as IATA/FIATA authorized training centre in Mumbai thus becoming the first centre in India to be authorized for both IATA/UFTAA and IATA/FIATA for International Travel and Air Cargo qualifications
- 1996 – IHCTM appointed as IATA/UFTAA authorized training centre in India to conduct ADVANCED IATA/UFTAA courses – The first centre for advanced course in India
- 1997 – IHCTM appointed as IATA/FIATA authorized training centre in India for Advanced modules viz Air Cargo Rating Course & Dangerous Goods course
- 1998 – IHCTM has its own website on the Internet – http://www.rbcsgroup.com.IHCTM pioneers a twin diploma course in Export & Cargo Industry Management.
- 1999 – IHCTM is authorised for International Tourism and Food & Beverage Service qualifications from City & Guilds U.K. and for GDS(CRS) from VIASINC, U.S.A.
- 2000 – IHCTM becomes the First authorised training Centre in the world to offer the new 4 level IATA/UFTAA programme as well as the first to offer 7 IATA qualifications
- 2001 – IHCTM is authorised to conduct the British Airways Courses in India
- 2003 – IHCTM introduces Virgin Atlantic Fares & E-Ticketing courses in India
- 2004 – IHCTM introduces Golden Airline Travel Plan & launches travel website http://www.compacttravels.com
